Isaac Cormier

Isaac Cormier

Isaac was born and raised in Texas. He did not have the traditional upbringing in SouthEast Texas. Isaac experienced neglect, abuse and trauma throughout childhood as well as some love and support. It wasn’t until he moved out at the age of 17 to Elkhart, Texas, where he met two lifelong friends who took him in. Through these friends, Isaac finally felt Christ-like love in a family setting.

As a lifelong athlete Isaac played football at Howard Payne University, then moved on to Southwest Texas where he met his first wife. He was blessed with three sons from the marriage: Colby, Connor and Coehn. All of his boys have followed suit in playing football just like dad. After fifteen years of marriage, Isaac and his ex-wife parted ways and his life truly took a turn in the Spring of 2017. His friend since 2000, Christopher Leschber, had also experienced divorce and his lowest point in 2012, but had been on an uphill climb since 2013 in his restoration and recovery process, bearing ripe fruit as a dead to the false self disciple of Christ and began to mentor and disciple him. On July 22, 2017 Isaac drove a spiritual stake in the ground, surrendering his life to Christ and dedicating himself to true restoration and discipleship.

Soon thereafter, Isaac met his now current wife, Kristen, who is very familiar with Isaac’s painful upbringing as well as his current dutiful commitment to his own restoration in Christ as well as his passion for leading others to their own renewal/restoration. Kristen has told Isaac many times that he was a representation of the lost sheep in Luke 15. That Isaac was the one that the Lord went searching for, leaving the 99 behind to make sure he was found and was safe. The Lord knew that something special was inside Isaac, and although it took a better part of 23 years, the Lord was persistent in searching out his prodigal son. Isaac has daily suited up in God's armor and is well aware and alert to the spiritual warfare waging on all around him, and is committed to taking back territory from the Enemy. Coupled with his undying pursuit of healing and restoration, Isaac is now more than ever, spiritually equipped to be the Outreach Director and Vice President of Romans12two Men's Ministry.

In the Romans12two community, Isaac is known as “Proverbs 3 Man”. Proverbs 3 speaks life to Isaac’s testimony. “Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding” -Proverbs 3:5.
